Born in Ukraine to Ukrainian parents, I grew up in a small town in Northern Indiana. At the age of 18 I began working as a studio assistant for potter Mark Goertzen. I studied Art and English at Goshen College. In 2025 I completed my MFA in ceramics at Notre Dame. I work from my home studio in South Bend, IN and serve as Vice Chair for the Northern Indiana Clay Alliance.
